School Meals for the 2022-2023 school year will no longer be covered by the USDA's National School Lunch Program SSO. Starting July 1st current and new students will need to pay for school meals. Students will need money on lunch accounts unless they have received a letter from USD 450 stating that they have been approved for Free/Reduced meals for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Free/Reduced meal application will be available on July 5, 2022. It can be completed online (www.ezmealapp.com) or by printing and filling out the paper copy below and returning it to Nutrition Services.
Click on the flyer below for more information about the Free/Reduced Meal Program.
Federal Law states that all meals served in a public school are to be paid for in advance. Make sure your student has money in their account if they are eating school breakfast or lunch. At this time, Shawnee Heights does not participate in the free snack milk program. If snack milk is offered at your school, the student will be charged $.50 a day for a carton of milk; this amount is not covered by the free and reduced lunch program.
