Join SHHS students at the Aaron Douglas Art Fair this Saturday, Sept. 30th, from 10-5pm (1211 SW Lane St). Patrons can view and purchase student art, vote for the SHHS booth, and purchase greeting cards. 100% of the greeting card purchase goes to the SHHS Art Scholarship.

JV game starts at 4:30, and Varsity game starts at 6:00. Students will receive: Free game entry with a paid adult Free goodie bag and team poster Walk on the field with Varsity players during game introductions Be there by 5:45 and meet at the North end of the field by the goodie bag table to line up with the players. We will have food trucks and a great crowd! Come back to Bettis Sports Center on Wednesday, September 20th, to train with the T-Birds at our first Mini Kicker Clinic! The clinic will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is absolutely free! Take your player to Sweet Tee after the clinic to cool off with some ice cream and support our team!

Due to the heat tomorrow, August 25th, the Jamboree will start at 8pm. Varsity/Sub Varsity on the game field, Freshmen on the sub-varsity field (behind the school).

Attn: Fall Senior Activity Celebration/Recognition Night date changes. Cross Country, Girls Tennis, Girls Golf, Boys Soccer, Volleyball, and Debate will be as originally scheduled for Sept 1st. Football, Band, Cheer, and Dance will be Sept 15th. Both dates will start at 6:30pm.

📢 UPDATE: 🌞⚽ Due to expected high temps on Saturday, Aug 19, we're shifting gears for the Thunderbird Soccer Alumni match. It will now be at 8:30 AM, followed by a thrilling JV scrimmage. 🥅 While there are no food trucks this time, your amazing support means the world. 🙌⚽

Open House, Food Trucks, and New Parent Orientation      Shawnee Heights High School will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, August 9th from 6:00-7:15pm.  We will have food trucks on site from 5:30 – 7:15pm for those wanting dinner as part of the evening activities. Cafeteria seating will be open.      Open House is an opportunity for you to visit with your child’s teachers and share knowledge of your child’s strengths, interests and needs.  The evening is informal, and you are free to come and go as your schedule permits.  To save resources, please bring a copy of your child’s schedule with you to the open house. Finally, our school nurse will be available to receive student medications, and our bookkeeper will be on site to collect enrollment fees and distribute activity passes.           Parents new to Shawnee Heights High School are invited to a new parent orientation meeting from 7:15-8:00 pm just following the open house in the high school auditorium.  Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the administrator team and learn ways to stay informed about school life and/or get involved in school activities.            We look forward to seeing you on August 9th!
