Hello Berryton families! BES PTO will be catering in two meals for the teachers and staff during parent-teacher conferences next week. Those are long days and they are unable to leave for meals. We will be partnering with El Mezcal, Goodcents, Smallcakes, and Eileen’s Cookies. If you would like to contribute a few dollars toward these meals that would be great. Please send cash or checks made to Berryton PTO with your student through backpack mail in an envelope marked BES PTO MEAL by Tuesday 3/2. You may also contribute via the PTO PayPal account at berrytonpto@gmail.com. Add PTO Meal to the notes and if you select the friends/family option it will avoid fees charged to the PTO. If any extra money sent in, it will be put towards the next teacher/staff meal.
Berryton teachers and staff have been going above and beyond this year with smiles on their faces! Please help PTO show our appreciation and support. Thank you!

Please Read - Schedule Change for Next Week due to COVID-19 Vaccinations
Dear Shawnee Heights Family,
Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccine has made its way to our district. We are happy to have this opportunity for our staff to receive the vaccine; however, this means we will need to move some scheduled on-site learning days to remote learning days to allow our staff time off to receive the vaccine.
Our first round of the vaccine (42 doses available) is scheduled for us on Monday, February 15, 2021. All of our transportation staff and substitute teachers who signed up to receive the vaccine will have the opportunity to get it at this time. Unfortunately, this means we will need to have a Remote Learning Day for all students on Monday, February 15, 2021.
Our next round of the vaccine (120 doses available) will be given to our High School staff on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Thursday, February 18, 2021, will become a Remote Learning day for all High School Students.
To Summarize the changes to the schedule due to COVID-19 Vaccinations:
• Monday, February 15, 2021 – Remote Learning Day for ALL Students
• Thursday, February 18, 2021- Remote Learning Day for High School Students Only
We understand that making these changes in the schedule is hard on everyone. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we will continue to share any changes in the schedule due to vaccine availability as soon as we have it.

Please look for printed library book overdue notices that will come home with all B and D track students today, Thursday, February 11th and then on Monday, February 15th for all A track students.
We have many books out both from the library and the guided reading group books from our literature set collections. Please help us by sending books back to school with your child.
The notice has a color printed image of each book to help you identify the book(s).

In lieu of the decision by the Board of Education last night, we will have one Valentine's Day celebration on Monday, February 15 for all students in ECSE, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.
For students in grades 3-6 we will celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, February 12 for our students in Track B and on Monday, February 15 for our students in Track A.

The next curbside pick up will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021. REMEMBER TO CHOOSE A 3 DAY MEAL PACK IF YOUR STUDENT IS HYBRID. CHOOSE A 5 DAY MEAL PACK IF YOUR STUDENT IS FULL REMOTE. Deadline for sign up for this pick up day will be noon, Saturday, January 16, 2021. There are no set menus at this time.
