Enrollment Information for New Non-Resident Students
Non-Resident Enrollment
To apply for new Non-Resident enrollment to Shawnee Heights USD 450, read and complete the application below.
All applications will be reviewed after June 15th. Applicants will be notified by email of acceptance or denial by July 30th. If you haven't received notification by July 30th, contact our Central Office at 785-379-5800.

Requests for new Non-Resident students will be determined based on capacity and a lottery system if needed. See below for more information on our current capacity.
Available Capacity for New Non-Resident Students
The USD 450 Shawnee Heights Board of Education approved the following recommendations at its regular meeting on April 15th, 2024. For policy information, refer to policy JBCC Enrollment of Non-Resident Students.
Recommendation: Based on the projected enrollment, expected growth factor, support program capacity, and limitations and capacity to operate effectively, USD 450 will not have the capacity to accept new nonresident students for the 2024-2025 school year.
